Karekare is my Turangawaewae.
The place where my spirit resides.
Where nature is in charge.
We perch on the edge of the world.

There are only forty houses and one streetlight.
The beach is 12 kilometres long, and three kilometres wide at its widest point with not a house, road, or human in sight.

No shops, no hotels.
Tens of thousands of hectares of mountainous rain forest park
separating you from the city only twenty minutes away.
If you saw the movie "The Piano",
that's Karekare.

Because it is here, we cook for our clients
unless they want to do it themselves.
Accommodation, transport and all those little things
can be arranged to any budget or level.

Because its live recording,
we like everyone here during tracking, if possible.
We also prefer that because being here is the primary experience,
recording here an added joy.
Ollivier and I respect both the place and the people here.
Conde Nast Travel Magazine said it was one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world.
