Capture a runaway horse.
When I discovered this couple in my fields feeding our resident studio pony, I didn’t think it would lead to this. Jamie and Cherie introduced themselves and said that they had caught and returned the horse. I didn’t know it had gone.

When I asked Jamie what he did he said
“Dub Soul Blues”. He had devoted himself totally to this, with his own studio equipment and band based out of his place high in the bush above us. “Come and have a cup of tea at my place.” I said. Six months later, here is the first product of that, the first of many we hope.

For Ollivier and myself, well, thanks; it was never work and it was always a pleasure. We’re still kind of stunned meeting such a gifted artist and great friend through such random circumstances.
